About Malindi Ahadi Community Organization

Our Story ..
In the heart of Malindi, where the local economy has long relied on a struggling tourism industry, three friends came together with a bold and urgent idea: to build a new path forward for the youth of our town.

For years, young people in Malindi have placed their hopes in tourism—learning Italian and other foreign languages in anticipation of jobs that never came. With tourism proving unreliable and seasonal, many youths now find themselves semi-stranded, facing limited options and rising hopelessness.

Seeing the untapped potential in our people and our land, we founded this organization to create sustainable, locally-driven alternatives—starting with micro-agriculture and beekeeping. Our mission is to equip youth with practical skills and opportunities that generate income from locally consumed products, breaking the cycle of dependency on tourism.

We are now seeking local and international supporters who believe in our vision: to transform lives, restore hope, and build a future where Malindi’s youth can thrive on self-sustaining, community-powered enterprises.
